So, it's kind of grilled, but pretty much not. Just used the kamado to heat soak a SteakStone to 600 degrees to bring inside for a tabletop cook & eat experience.
The kamado had no problem getting to 600+ and holding for an hour while the stone heat soaked. Pulled from the grill and dropped it into it's tabletop tray and brought it inside. Gave it a quick swipe of avocado oil and it was ready to go.
Dropped a couple of filet's on with some steamed asparagus.
Gave them a couple of minutes and then a flip. The sizzle and aroma was amazing from the screaming hot stone. Startled slicing off bites and giving them a quick sear prior to eating. Steak was perfectly done to everyones taste (sear your bite as long as you want) and stone stayed hot, keeping the steaks nice and warm, throughout the meal.
